I'm living outside the UK for a few years, and Jennings' competitive rates for container storage rental made it feasible to keep my most memorable household items whilst I'm abroad.
The entire process was dealt with smoothly and my only mistake was buying dehumidifier blocks for inside the container through Amazon rather than just asking Julia in reception if Jennings also sell them – they do and at a much better price!
Communication is excellent with regular updates as to entry codes and methods, and it's clear that site security is taken seriously.
I managed to squeeze the contents of a 3 bedroom terraced house into a single 160sq/ft container for reference.

I needed a storage unit for around six months and made several calls to different storage facilities in the area at the start of the year. When I spoke with the gentlemen at Jennings Storage, they were head and shoulders above the others, professional, friendly, and very fairly priced.
Their extended access hours were a huge advantage, as I could visit after work and on weekends without having to rearrange my schedule. The container itself was a great size and provided more than enough space for everything I needed. Security was excellent, and access was always straightforward.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jennings Storage. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free. -
I stored my items with Jennings Storage for several years, and the three guys who run the storage site have been absolutely exceptional throughout. I don’t like listing exact names in reviews, but they know who they are, and they truly deserve the recognition. I think one of them has sadly recently left, which is a real loss, because their standards were outstanding.
Nothing has ever been too much trouble. They’ve always been there to help, even during lockdown when they were working all hours to keep things running smoothly. Over the years, they’ve consistently gone above and beyond, supporting me in the evenings and at weekends whenever I needed extra storage or had any issues. You simply don’t find that level of dedication and genuine customer care these days.
They are a real asset to Jennings Storage — the shareholders are incredibly fortunate to have (and have had) them. The recent expansions and upgrades on site are second to none, and everything now runs seamlessly because of their hard work, the standards they have set, and the professionalism they have installed.
They set the benchmark for what exceptional customer service should look like, and it’s a standard that’s very hard for anyone else to match.
I’ll definitely use them again in future, assuming the same level of staff and service remains. -

We hired a container for a period of approximately 9 months. The whole experience was very straightforward, communication was excellent, delivery and collection was easy to arrange and at our convenience and I felt the overall costs were pretty reasonable. The container was in good condition and looked quite neat, which meant that having it in our front garden was not an eyesore. Thank you for providing such a great service.

When I first started using Jennings Storage (Barretts back then) in 2015, the place felt a bit tired and in need of a fresh push. From around 2017 onwards, Adam, Ricky have delivered exactly that — and more. They’ve implemented an incredible number of improvements, both behind the scenes and across the entire site.
Fast forward to their major expansion and the new entrance opening in 2024… WOW WOW. What a transformation. The level of customer service and the quality of the containers have always been the reason I chose them, but now they’ve added a genuinely 5-star storage site and facilities to match.
They’ve grown from a small, modest site into a much larger operation while still maintaining the same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail — which is a real credit to them both. The upgraded security systems and improved access procedures make it an exceptional place to store your business or personal items. I look forward to seeing what these guys do next!

When first looking for a storage facility I was focused on price and with Jennings being on the higher end I was a bit unsure I’d need to pay £50-70 more than other storage containers in the area. A quick phone call from Shannon and follow up email got me intrigued. Her words were “we are not like other storage facilities. We have security like no other. Our containers don’t condensate like others. You won’t be disappointed.”
After a quick visit I was greeted by Nathan who had noticed me coming in on the camera system. Nathan showed me around and confirmed to me Shannon was correct.
Great security, great clean containers that looked like new and a facility that was second to none.
I continued to use this container for a few months while moving house and can say this was by far the best choice. Great facility and great staff.

Having moved house Jennings took care of my storage issue. The staff are extremely helpful & efficient. Everything was exactly as agreed.

I used Jennings to store the contents of my house between the sale and purchase of two properties. Having completely underestimated how much stuff I have, I realised on the day of the move that the unit I'd reserved wasn't going to be big enough. The Team at Jennings arranged an upgrade with no fuss and it was really and waiting for me when I arrived onsite with my removal team.
The site is extremely secure with three different barriers requiring a combination of codes (which change monthly) and a QR code/pin combination which is unique to each customer. I went to my unit on several different evenings as well as during office hours and always felt safe. My things were stored securely and the team were always on hand to answer any questions.
Reasonably priced with great service – I'd highly recommend this company. -
